By ensuring that all students and staff have equal opportunities and treatment regardless of gender, UDM supports gender equality through a number of policies and activities through the UDM-BAHAGHARI, which is overseen by the UDM Gender and Development Department. Consistent with SDG 5, the institution cultivates a milieu that actively combats gender-based prejudice and discrimination, thereby advancing women’s empowerment and gender equality.
