In a groundbreaking move aimed at fostering inclusivity and fairness in the workplace, Manila

policy ensures equal opportunities for employment and career advancement within the city
government.
The executive order reaffirms Manila’s commitment to upholding the principles of equal
employment opportunity, irrespective of factors such as sexual orientation, gender identity, civil
status, disability, religion, ethnicity, social status, income, class, political affiliation, or similar

This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 8 – Decent Work and
Economic Growth, promoting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
