In the National Capital Region (NCR), the Universidad de Manila has been praised for being the top-performing criminology school in the 2021 Criminologist Licensure Examination.
With programs on law, governance, and social justice, the institution has been actively promoting peace and justice in collaboration with the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), and the Philippine National Police (PNP). UDM is in line with SDG 16’s goals of fostering inclusive and peaceful societies and guaranteeing that everyone has access to justice by teaching students about the values of justice, human rights, and the rule of law. In addition, UDM has included peace and justice-related topics into its Associate in Barangay Governance (ABG) Course and organized programs for barangay and local government leaders in Manila.
