The Office of the Vice President for Administration (OVPA) recently conducted a one-day training workshop in bringing together its various units to collaboratively develop a unified Mission, Vision, Goals, and Core Values (MVGCV) on August 12, 2025 at UDM Accreditation Room. This initiative aims to ensure that the OVPA’s guiding statements reflect its shared purpose and aspirations while remaining fully aligned with the Universidad de Manila’s Mission and Vision.
The resource speaker provided practical and insightful discussions on the importance of a clear MVGCV, the process of creating operational and measurable goals, and the alignment of office objectives with UDM’s institutional framework. The session also included guidance on designing the OVPA logo to represent the office’s purpose, principles, and key elements.
During the workshop, participants presented their draft MVGCV, which underwent careful review to enhance technical writing style, clarity, impact, and alignment with the university’s core values. Through interactive discussions, the group agreed on the final version of the OVPA’s MVGCV and proposed logo. Once approved, the logo will be used as a watermark in official communications.
The final output will be endorsed to University President Dr. Ma. Felma Carlos-Tria for submission to the Board of Regents for approval. This initiative underscores the OVPA’s commitment to efficiency, innovation, and service excellence in supporting the university community.
