On September 20, 2023, the Universidad de Manila (UDM) College of Law organized a highly
anticipated roundtable discussion on the ongoing Makati–Taguig territorial dispute. Held at the Cecilia Muñoz Palma Hall, the event provided a neutral platform for legal experts, political stakeholders, and over 250 law students from UDM, the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, and the University of Makati to explore the complexities of this high–profile case.
Distinguished panelists, including Atty. Adonis Gabriel, Atty. Ira Paulo Pozon, and Atty. Vien
Lawrence Gabato, shared their insights on the legal nuances of landmark cases such as City of Taguig v. City of Makati. The event was moderated by broadcast journalist Mr. Mon Gualvez, ensuring a dynamic exchange of ideas and fostering informed dialogue among participants.
