UDM Celebrates Clinical Graduation: The Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals Set to Make an Impact

August 18, 2023— UDM Palma Hall, Manila, Philippines
On August 18, 2023, the Universidad de Manila (UDM) College of Health Sciences hosted
its annual Clinical Graduation at Cecilia Muñoz Palma Hall, marking a significant
milestone for 124 Nursing graduates and 42 Physical Therapy graduates. With the theme
“The Road to Excellence in Healthcare Begins Now,” the event celebrated the hard work,
dedication, and achievements of these future healthcare leaders.
Aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) – Good Health and Well–being, the
ceremony emphasized UDM’s commitment to training professionals who are prepared to
address global health challenges with skill and compassion. In attendance were notable
figures such as Vice Mayor of Manila, Hon. Yul Servo Nieto, Dr. Ronald A. Herrera, and CHS
Dean Aurisita M. Delos Reyes, who, along with faculty, parents, and students, honored the
graduates as they embarked on their professional journeys.
The Clinical Graduation ceremony was not just a recognition of academic success, but a
reaffirmation of UDM’s mission to produce healthcare professionals who will contribute to
improving the health and well–being of their communities. These graduates are now
equipped to provide essential services in nursing and physical therapy, ready to play
critical roles in the healthcare industry both locally and globally.
As they move forward, these UDM graduates carry with them the values of excellence and
service, poised to make a meaningful impact in healthcare and contribute to the
achievement of SDG 3.
