Universidad De Manila Enhances Student Awareness with Annual Sustainability Literacy Assessment

Universidad De Manila (UDM) continues its commitment to fostering an informed student body by conducting an annual sustainability literacy assessment, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 17 (SDG 17) – “Partnerships for the Goals.” Through this comprehensive evaluation, administered by the University Testing Office and various academic departments, UDM ensures that students not only gain knowledge about sustainability but also understand its critical importance to global progress.

The annual assessment, developed in collaboration with sustainability experts, measures students’ awareness and understanding of sustainability principles across environmental, social, and economic domains. With a curriculum that increasingly emphasizes these topics, UDM prepares students to engage with and respond to global sustainability challenges, empowering them to make responsible, informed choices in their careers and communities.
