Universidad de Manila Achieves Level II Accreditation for Seven Programs

Manila, Philippines – Universidad de Manila proudly celebrates the Level II accreditation of seven (7) academic programs in a huge step up from Commission on Accreditation for Local Colleges and Universities, ALCUCOA. This is another demonstration of UDM’s dedication to providing a quality education and achieving academic excellence.
The programs that have achieved this prestigious accreditation are:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) Major in Economics
- BSBA Major in Human Resource Development Management
- BSBA Major in Marketing Management
- Bachelor in Public Administration
- Bachelor of Arts in Political Science
- Bachelor of Science in Social Work
- Bachelor in Secondary Education Major in English
This attests to the quality and impact of UDM’s academic programs – a goal central creating rigorous, impactful experiences for students. This is an indication of a very thorough evaluation process in terms of governance, faculty, curriculum and instructions, student services, employability, extension programs, research, library, laboratories and physical plant. These programs have been awarded this level of accreditation as an indicator that standards set by ALCUCOA are being met or exceeded and the students will receive a high-quality education in all respects.
Receiving Level II accreditation is a major milestone for UDM, and it expands how the institution can provide services to its students-but the work starts now. The university is dedicated to enhancing and wants different levels of accreditation in the long term.
