UDM Receives Recognition from Global Peace Foundation for Outstanding Youth Festival Participation

In a ceremony held at Universidad De Manila (UDM) on January 11, 2024, the Global Peace Foundation – Philippines presented the university with a prestigious certificate of recognition. This honor was bestowed upon UDM for its remarkable achievement in fielding the highest number of delegations at the Global Youth Festival, which took place on December 10, 2023, at the Cuneta Astrodome in Pasay City.
The courtesy meeting served as an opportunity for fruitful discussions between UDM representatives and key officials from the Global Peace Foundation – Philippines. Attending the meeting were Ms. Sally P. Quimson, Partnership and Development Officer; Mr. Kier Aventurado, Director for Youth Development; and Mr. Jay-Mar P. Javier, Coordinator for the One Korea Global Campaign and Peacebuilding Initiative.
The discussions focused on exploring future collaboration and involvement of UDM students in upcoming events and initiatives organized by the Global Peace Foundation – Philippines.
