In a significant move that highlights Universidad de Manila’s (UDM) growing influence in
global cooperation and sustainable development, the university’s President has been officially
sworn in as the Vice President of the United Nations Association of the Philippines (UNAP) –
National Capital Region Chapter. The prestigious appointment was formalized during the 2024
UNAP Program Review and Planning Workshop with Agency Collaboration Session, marking a
new era of engagement between UDM and international organizations.
This esteemed role places the UDM President at the forefront of promoting the United Nations’
mission within the Philippines, fostering collaboration and partnership between the academic
community and the global stage. Through this position, the UDM President is set to play a
