Universidad de Manila (UdM) continues to prioritize real–world experience for its students, as evidenced by the remarkable 61.04% participation rate of full–time equivalent (FTE) students in work placements during the academic year 2022–2023. This initiative, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, reflects the university’s dedication to preparing students for the workforce while fostering economic growth through skill development.
The University Career and Placement Office’s latest report highlights the participation rates across various academic programs, showcasing UdM’s success in integrating practical experience into its curriculum. Standout programs with 100% placement rates include Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Business Administration (HR and Marketing), Mathematics, General Science, and Social Science Education, emphasizing the comprehensive approach to career readiness.
Key Program Highlights:
• Bachelor of Science in Social Work: 100% of students placed
• Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics: 100% of students placed
• Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship: 78.57% of students placed
• Bachelor of Science in Criminology: 84.21% of students placed
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing: 60% of students placed
