UDM Celebrates the Success of 2,430 Graduates at 24th Commencement Exercises

On July 20, 2022, the Universidad de Manila (UDM) held its 24th Commencement Exercises at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC), honoring the accomplishments of 2,430 graduates across various disciplines. This historic event, aligned with Sustainable Development Goal 1 (SDG 1) – No Poverty, highlighted UDM’s commitment to providing quality education that empowers students to overcome socio-economic challenges and contribute to society.
Graduates from the College of Business Administration (CBA), College of Education (CED), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Engineering and Technology (CET), College of Health Sciences (CHS), and College of Criminal Justice (CCJ) were celebrated for their hard work and dedication. The ceremony also honored 183 graduates from the Institute for Graduate and Professional Studies (IGPS), who received advanced degrees.
Esteemed guests included Manila Mayor Maria Sheilah “Honey” Honrado Lacuna-Pangan, Vice Mayor John Marvin “Yul Servo” Cruz, and businessman Manuel “Manny” Bamba Villar Jr., alongside UDM President Dr. Ma. Felma Carlos-Tria, Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Ronald A. Herrera, and University Registrar Loida J. Primavera.
The event marked a pivotal moment in the lives of UDM graduates as they embark on new professional journeys, carrying forward the values of service, excellence, and leadership that the university instills. The 24th Commencement not only celebrated academic achievement but also underscored UDM’s role in fighting poverty by equipping students with the education and skills needed to thrive in the workforce.
