Every aspect of a community contributes to its overall well-being, from managing public health risks to ensuring the safety of domestic animals. Recognizing this, the CHS Student Council has taken proactive steps through “Healthy Habitat: Sustainable Community Solutions for Vector and Domestic Animal Management.”
This initiative brings together awareness, action, and long-term solutions to Barangay 790, Zone 86, Sta. Ana, Manila, fostering a safer and more sustainable environment. By addressing concerns such as vector control and responsible pet ownership, the program aims to promote public health while ensuring harmony between people and animals.
Through collaborative efforts, the project introduces strategic interventions that empower the community with the knowledge and tools necessary to manage environmental challenges effectively. This includes advocating for responsible pet care, implementing vector control measures, and championing sustainability practices that contribute to a healthier living space for all.
The CHS Student Council extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Nursing Alumni, whose generosity and dedication to community health have made this initiative possible. Their unwavering support continues to inspire meaningful change, reinforcing the importance of collective action in building resilient and thriving communities.
With a shared commitment to sustainability and public health, this initiative marks another step towards a future where safe spaces are a reality for everyone.
