UDM Reports 6.6% of 2023 Graduates in Health Professions, Strengthening Manila’s
Healthcare Workforce
In March 2023, the Universidad de Manila (UDM) proudly announced that 6.6% of its total
2,506 graduates were in health professions, including Nursing and Physical Therapy. This
accomplishment aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) – Good Health and Well–
Being, highlighting UDM’s role in producing qualified healthcare professionals to meet the
growing demands of the healthcare sector.
Out of 2,506 graduates, 167 were from health–related courses, contributing to Manila’s
healthcare system and reinforcing the city’s capacity to provide quality healthcare services. The
university’s health profession graduates will play a crucial role in improving health outcomes and
addressing public health challenges, further enhancing the city’s healthcare landscape.
This achievement underlines UDM’s dedication to fostering academic excellence in the field of
healthcare, preparing students to take on critical roles in improving the well–being of
communities.
