In the spirit of service and bayanihan, the Universidad de Manila Supreme Student Government (UDM SSG), through its flagship initiative Project TUGON, reached out to the residents of Brgy. 105, Tondo (Happy Land) who were affected by the recent fire incident.
This donation drive and community pantry is part of SSG’s One-Day Caravan, a special event where multiple activities were conducted in a single day to serve, support, and uplift the community. Through this effort, families received meals, essential goods, and basic necessities, bringing hope and relief to those who need it most.
We are deeply grateful for the participation and support of Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Rejan Tadeo; Vice President for Student Success and Support Services, Prof. Nancy Tejada; Head of Student Organization and Activities, Dr. Rosalie Catu; Program Chairperson of Public Administration, Prof. Lerma; Dr. Edison Raymundo, UDM SSG Adviser and the presence of Public Administration students, whose involvement made this initiative even more meaningful.
Our heartfelt thanks also go to our partners, donors, and volunteers whose generosity and compassion made this project possible. Their selfless efforts remind us that even in times of adversity, unity, service, and care can bring hope and relief to those who need it most.
As we continue SSG’s mission of service, may this initiative inspire others to embody the values of tulong at pag-asa, proving that together, we can rise stronger and make a meaningful difference.
