The Office of the Vice President for Student Success and Support Services (OVPSSSS) of the Universidad de Manila (UDM) held its General Assembly on July 11, 2025, at the UDM campus. The event aimed to discuss and reaffirm the institution’s commitment to quality, student-centered support and services.
During the assembly, the office tackled CHED Memorandum Order (CMO) No. 9, Series of 2013, which outlines the Enhanced Policies and Guidelines on Student Affairs and Services (SAS). The discussion emphasized the university’s dedication to ensuring that all student programs and support mechanisms remain aligned with national policies, promoting holistic development and inclusive education.
This assembly served as an important avenue to highlight the university’s ongoing efforts to strengthen institutional governance, ensure transparency, and uphold student welfare as a top priority. It also provided an opportunity to recognize the commendable service of Atty. Rodolfo V. Castillo, Jr., and to officially welcome Ms. Nancy J. Tejada as the new Vice President for Student Success and Support Services.
The event was a meaningful celebration of gratitude, transition, and progress, symbolizing UDM’s continued pursuit of excellence in leadership, inclusivity, and institutional integrity. Through this initiative, the Universidad de Manila reaffirms its alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, fostering accountability, collaboration, and student empowerment across the academic community.
