The Extension Linkages Unit (ELU) proudly announces the release of SADUNAYAN 2, the second issue of the University’s official extension magazine. This issue continues to highlight the university’s institutional platform, “Healthy Habitat: Sustainable Community Solutions for Vector and Domestic Animal Management,” and documents the growing synergy between UDM’s academic sectors and its partner communities.
SADUNAYAN 2 captures the collective work of all six colleges—College of Education (CED), College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), College of Business and Public Management (CBPM), College of Health Sciences (CHS), College of Criminal Justice (CCJ), and the College of Computing Studies (CCS). Each college’s College Extension Action Plan is featured alongside discipline-based extension research initiatives representing all 19 degree programs. Through these efforts, the University strengthens its commitment to addressing ALCUCOA recommendations by ensuring a structured, sustainable, and evidence-based extension program.
The magazine was officially distributed this week, with copies received by the respective Deans of each college. These handover moments symbolized not just the dissemination of a publication, but the continuation of a shared journey—one marked by collaboration, relevance, and service.
In line with the guiding philosophy of “Salin Dunong + Ugnayan,” SADUNAYAN 2 reinforces the importance of building strong linkages between the university and the communities it serves. It stands as a proud testament to UDM’s evolving role as both a center of learning and a partner in grassroots development.
