In alignment with SDG 1 – No Poverty and SDG 4 – Quality Education, the Physical Education students launched a developmental outreach program titled “Physical Education for the Juvenile Youth Center Manila.” The initiative, conducted weekly from March to April 2025 at the Manila Youth Reception Center, aims to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and discipline among the youth residents.
Through structured sports and movement-based activities, the program serves as a transformative platform for character formation and positive behavioral change, emphasizing the role of education and physical activity in building life skills. Beyond improving physical health, the initiative contributes to poverty alleviation at the national level by equipping participants with values and competencies that can lead to better opportunities and reintegration into society.
This program highlights the power of education through physical engagement, demonstrating how inclusive community efforts can nurture the youth’s potential and foster a more resilient and empowered generation.
