The Office of the Vice President for Student Success and Support Services (OVPSSSS), through the Student Organizations and Activities (SOA) Unit, officially launched the Annual Accreditation and Reaccreditation of Student Organizations for Academic Year 2025–2026.
Held at the SOA Office, Academic Wing, Main Building of the Universidad de Manila, the initiative aims to ensure that all student organizations operate in full compliance with institutional policies while promoting responsible and inclusive student engagement. The memorandum for the activity was dated August 17, 2025, with a submission deadline set for August 29, 2025 (Friday).
Participating organizations were instructed to accomplish accreditation and reaccreditation forms, complete all required documents, and submit them to the SOA Office for evaluation and approval. Only officially accredited and reaccredited organizations will be recognized and authorized to conduct programs and activities within the University.
This annual program underscores UDM’s strong commitment to cultivating leadership, accountability, and organizational development among students. It also supports Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 8 – Decent Work and Economic Growth, by promoting effective management practices, teamwork, and leadership competencies that enhance employability and civic engagement.
The accreditation drive was launched alongside the announcement of the newly elected Supreme Student Government (SSG) Officers for School Year 2025–2026 by the UDM SC COMELEC, signifying a renewed chapter of student leadership and participation.
A total of 235 regular employees, student organization advisers, and student leaders were involved in supporting and facilitating the process, highlighting the University’s collaborative spirit and dedication to fostering a vibrant and empowered student community.
Through these initiatives, UDM continues to advance SDG 16 – Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, by building transparent, participatory, and student-centered governance that strengthens trust and institutional integrity across the campus.
