This refers to the implementation of Cash-For-Work-Program for College Graduates of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social Services Offices (KALAHI-CIDSS). It provides a short-term targeted intervention to select beneficiaries i.e recent college graduates and students economically poor or those belonging to vulnerable communities/sectors to address short-term basic needs.
The KALAHI-CIDSS National Program Management Office (NPMO) commenced with the Program implementation in DSWD Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) and representatives from the implementing State/Local Universities and Colleges (SUCs) in 2023. Likewise, Universidad de Manila (UDM) was one of the identifies S/LUCs with 400 total target beneficiaries to be provided with program assistance with total grant allocation amounting to Nineteen Million Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand Pesos (Php 19,215,000,00). Each beneficiary can render up to 90 work days in their identifies areas of assignments.
